Dissolvine NA2-P, food-grade disodium EDTA, is a food- and pharmaceutical-quality EDTA. EDTA (Ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid), appears in foods and cosmetic products to prevent air from spoiling them by introducing unwanted oxygen into the products’ molecular structures.
In foods, disodium EDTA promotes color and helps retain flavors. In pharmaceuticals and cosmetics it is used as a stabilizer.
